The King of comedy Allari Naresh has teamed up with Sharmila Mandre and Director Devi Prasad comedy film "Kevvu Keka. Boppana Chandrasekhar is the producer. The film is released today, so let's see if this will entertain as they promised.

History:

Buchi Raju (Allari Naresh) is a seller at Kalanikethan Mall. He lives with his uncle Abracadabra Appa Rao (Krishna Bhagavan) who is a magician. Buchi Raju comes to come through Maha Lakshmi (Sharmila Mandre), one fine day and falls in love with her. Buchi Babu meets Mahalakshmi and they fall in love.

Maha Lakshmi father Subba Rao (M.S.Narayana) does not approve of this Alliance as the Buchi Raju not a rich guy. To win a hand Maha Lakshmi, Buchi Raju promises to make lots of money during 6 months and leaves.

Through his uncle, Appa RAO, he comes to know about Bangkok businessman named Gottam Gopalakrishna (Ashish Vidyardhi) and happiness that awaits him. Armed with this information, Buchi Raju decides to go to Bangkok to look for his money.

What happens next? Will his success Raju Buchi efforts? That is the story of this movie.

Plus points:

Allari Naresh, was his usual self in this movie. He succeeded in the entertainment of spectators in some degree to his comedy timing and mannerisms. He also looked quite stylish in this movie. Sharmila Mandre has done a good job. Ashish Vidyardhi is very effective in full length comedy.

Krishna Bhagavan, Ali and Dhan Raj entertaining parts. In the first half of the movie has a few good moments. Trade Center episode, episode party and a medley of songs come out good. Private entertainment in the first half was decent.

Minus points:

The second half of the film is a huge disappointment. Comedy quotient falls alarmingly here and the film seems to drag on and.

The Director has focused more on coming up with a mess of drama in the second half, and it didn't work well. Senior and talented comedian like M.S.Narayana has been wasted in this movie.

Romantic walkway between Naresh and Sharmila Mandre should have been better. This is a rather superficial way. Songs are like speed breakers for this film and not help proceedings.

Technical aspects:

Cinema Is Ok. The editor must be trimmed from a number of scenes in the second half. The background score is just OK.

Devi Prasad handled the direction, script and story departments. It didn't do justice to any of them. He loses control of the movie in the second half.

The Verdict:

Kevvu Keka has a decent first half, but the film goes down in the second half. Allari Naresh has tried his best, but it's not enough to save this film.
